Skoda Karoq

The Skoda Karoq, recently introduced in Nepal by MAW Enterprises, the authorized distributor of Skoda vehicles in the country, marks a new addition to Skoda’s luxury SUV lineup. This premium SUV is designed to offer a sophisticated driving experience with its modern design, intelligent connectivity features, and top-notch safety features.

The Skoda Karoq is a fully imported model from the Czech Republic and has quickly gained popularity in the Nepali market. With four units initially brought in, two have already been sold, reflecting the positive response from customers.

Under the hood, the Skoda Karoq is equipped with a powerful 2.0L 4-Cylinder Turbocharged TDi engine, meeting EURO4 emission standards. It boasts a displacement of 1968cc, delivering a maximum power of 143 PS at 3500-4000 rpm and a torque of 350 Nm at 1750-3000 rpm. The SUV features a 6-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, achieving a top speed of 202 kmph.

In terms of dimensions, the Skoda Karoq stands at 4382 x 1841 x 1624 mm with a wheelbase of 2624 mm. The SUV offers a comfortable 5-seater configuration with a spacious interior and a storage capacity of 521 liters, extendable to 1630 liters. The ground clearance is set at 161 mm, making it suitable for various terrains.

The exterior design of the Skoda Karoq follows the brand’s familiar design language, featuring a bold and muscular stance with dynamic proportions. Signature elements include a Skoda Radiator Grille, LED headlamps with Illuminated DRLs, and Fog Lights with Cornering Function. The SUV is available in a range of vibrant colors such as Red, Grey, White, Brown, Blue, Green, Blue, and Black.

Inside, the Skoda Karoq offers a premium experience with features like a 20.32cm Touch Infotainment System with Skoda Connect, Digital Instrument Panel, Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC), Canton Sound System, Virtual Pedal with Retractable Parcel Shelf, Panoramic Sunroof, Virtual Cockpit, Heated Seats, Dual Zone Climate Control, and more.

Safety is a top priority for the Skoda Karoq, evident in its 5-star Euro NCAP Safety Rating.
