VG Impex, the authorized distributor of GWM in Nepal, has introduced the GWM Ora 03 EV, a distinctive electric hatchback combining retro aesthetics with modern features. Priced at Rs. 47.49 Lakhs for the PRO variant, the Ora 03 EV is a noteworthy addition to the Nepali electric vehicle market. Initially known as the Good Cat and Funky Cat, it has undergone a rebranding to align with GWM Nepal’s focus on electric mobility.

Design and Styling: The GWM Ora 03 EV stands out with its retro-modernistic design philosophy, featuring circular Intelligent LED headlamps, a sleek hood with chromed slits beside the Active Air Intake grille, and a chrome line at the windows. The rear profile is particularly quirky, sporting a futuristic LED Strip, 3D Emblem, Integrated Spoiler, and Shark Fin Antenna. The interior maintains a premium and futuristic styling, providing a unique visual appeal.

Performance and Specifications: Powered by a 99kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) and a 47.7 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery, the Ora 03 EV delivers a max power of 134 PS and a torque of 210 Nm. It boasts a claimed range of 400 km and supports Fast DC Charging. The McPherson Independent and Arm Torsion Beam suspension setup contributes to a comfortable ride. With a 5-Star Safety Rating from both ANCAP and EURO ANCAP, the Ora 03 excels in performance and safety features.

The cabin accommodates five passengers, and the storage capacity can be extended up to 858 liters.
