Kathmandu—Triveni Motocorp Pvt. Ltd. has officially started the sale of KAMA brand electric vans and microbuses in Nepal. These vehicles, available in 11-seater and 14-seater configurations, are designed for both commercial and passenger purposes.
With the rising demand for electric vans in Nepal, Triveni Motocorp, a subsidiary of Triveni Group, has partnered with China’s Shandong KAMA Automobile Company as the official distributor. The company is now importing and selling KAMA electric vehicles in the Nepalese market.
KAMA’s products are sold in over 60 countries worldwide. In Nepal, Triveni Motocorp has launched the 11-seater and 14-seater KAMA electric passenger vans, along with a 1.5-ton capacity pickup van. The 11-seater and 14-seater KAMA EVs come equipped with 35 kW and 70 kW motors, respectively. The vans feature a 42 kWh lithium-ion battery, which provides a range of up to 280 km on a full charge.
All KAMA electric vans are equipped with CATL batteries. The company states that this range can be achieved when driving at a speed of 40 km/h. To ensure customer satisfaction, Triveni Motocorp has established well-equipped service centers across the country and has made spare parts readily available.
Triveni Motocorp has also encouraged customers to visit their service centers for inspections and services, emphasizing their commitment to after-sales support.
