Bajaj Platina 100 is a fuel-efficient motorcycle designed for Nepal’s diverse terrains. Both front and rear drum brakes feature a combined braking system. With a weight of 117 kg and an 11-liter fuel tank, Platina 100 is ideal for both urban and rural commutes.
Specially tailored for Nepal’s rural markets, Bajaj Platina 100 is positioned above the CT100 and CT110 models, offering kick and electric start options. It boasts practical knuckle guards to enhance utility.
The bike derives its power from a BS6-compliant 102cc fuel-injected engine, delivering 7.8 bhp and 8.34 Nm of torque. Mated to a four-speed manual gearbox, it ensures smooth gear shifts. With its 13-liter fuel tank, Platina prioritizes fuel efficiency, complying with BS6 norms.
Platina 100 promises a comfortable ride with long travel front forks, rear springs, and Bajaj’s Comfortec suspension technology. Its design showcases a basic yet classic look, highlighted by black painted frame, exhaust, and grab rails, complemented by silver-finished engine crankcase and wheels.
Riding on 17-inch alloy wheels, Platina 100 employs telescopic forks and dual shock absorbers. The ES version offers an additional front disc brake option for enhanced braking. Competing against rivals like Honda Dream Neo, TVS Star City Plus, and Hero MotoCorp HF Deluxe, this bike is available in red and black variants, catering to different preferences on Nepal’s roads.
